The Borough of Glen Ridge invites sealed proposals via the competitive contracting process for:
REVALUATION OF ALL COMMERCIAL, RESIDENTIAL & REAL PROPERTIES WITHIN THE BOROUGH OF GLEN RIDGE
Copies of the specifications and contract documents for the proposed work may be obtained by submitting a request: please click here and submit form or calling 973.748.8400 ext 222
Proposal documents cannot be obtained at the Borough offices.
Sealed proposals, clearly labeled with the project title and the submitting party's name and address, must be submitted either by mail or hand delivery to the Municipal Clerk's Office, 825 Bloomfield Avenue, Glen Ridge, NJ 07028. The deadline for submission is Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. Proposals will be publicly opened and read in the Council Chambers on the same day. Any bids received after this time will not be considered.
Proposals are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 regarding equal employment opportunity, as amended. All corporations and partnerships and limited liability companies must comply with N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2, regarding disclosure of partners and stockholders. In addition, Respondents must adhere to the Affirmative Action requirements outlined in N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27, possess a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate per P.L. 2004, c.57, and comply with the Local Unit Pay to Play Law per P.L. 2004, c.19.
The Borough Council reserves the right to reject any or all proposals submitted, as well as to adjust quantities as deemed necessary.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed submissions (2 copies required) will be received by the Borough Clerk, or designated representative, for the Borough of Glen Ridge, County of Essex, State of New Jersey on Wednesday, December 4, 2025, 11:00 A.M. prevailing time, in the Council Chambers, Glen Ridge Borough Municipal Building, 825 Bloomfield Avenue, Glen Ridge, NJ 07028 then publicly opened and read aloud for the following:

Standardized submission requirements and selection criteria are on file and available in the Municipal Clerk's Office.
Submission packages may be obtained from the Clerk's Office via email tventola@glenridgenj.org (click here) or by calling (973) 748-8400 extension 222 during regular business hours, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, excluding holidays.
All professional service contractors are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 (Business Registration of Public Contractors), N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. (Contract Compliance and Equal Employment Opportunities in Public Contracts).
Submissions by Corporations and Partnerships shall include a completed Disclosure of Ownership form (N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2) and shall include a completed Non-Collusion Affidavit.
The Borough Council reserves the right to reject any or all submissions due to any defects or waive informalities and accept or reject any submissions that in their judgment will be in the best interest of the Borough. The Borough Council shall award the contract or reject all submissions no later than 60 days from receipt of same.
